After several months of waiting, WonderKing Philippines players will finally be able to move on.
Mobius Games has recently announced that it has ceased its operations of WonderKing Online due to lack of developer support. It said they have been continuously asking for technical assistance from the developer, Ryu & Soft, but failed to get help to fix the game's bugs and technical glitches.
Mobius Games apologized to the thousands of players who have been waiting for WonderKing PH's return since it underwent an "extended maintenance" in September of last year. The game publisher then promises to provide better and more exciting games in the "very near future".
The game's official PH site has also ceased to exist.

This is probably one question many WonderKing players have in mind right now.
It is almost four months since the WonderKing team announced its "overdue extended maintenance" to overhaul the game that was plagued with technical glitches last year.
In its announcement in September, the team enumerated several problems that they need to fix before letting gamers play WonderKing once more. We all thought that was okay because it's what the technical team needs to do.
But since then, we received no updates whatsoever regarding the maintenance (or if it ever pushed through in the first place). What's more intriguing is that Mobius Games has already removed WonderKing as one of their games. While the official WonderKing PH site is still online, it wouldn't make much sense if it does not have any updates about the game.
So for the development team, as well as Mobius Games, we would like to hear from you. If you already made an announcement about the status of the game, please make it official because a lot of WonderKing players are still confused and uncertain if they are just waiting for nothing.
Just in case the maintenance did push through, an update every now and then wouldn't be bothersome, right? :)
After almost a month handling WonderKing Ph, Mobius Games announces a server shutdown to take effect tonight at 12:00mn.
Premier game publisher Mobius Games stated in the announcement that they need to perform a "long overdue extended maintenance" to fully integrate WK into their system. Some of the concerns they would be addressing during this period include:
- Data Center and connectivity improvements
- New account registration
- Full integration to Mobius Online (what did I tell you. haha)
- Negative eCash balance
- Other in-game bugs
Mobius Games adopted WonderKing after game publisher Ryusoft Phils. Inc. ceased its operation for the game last August 19. WK reopened in its new home on September 9. Since then, Mobius Games has been trying to provide quality gaming experience to its old players. However, registration has not yet opened for new players.
Mobius Games better speed up the integration process they're talking about. WonderKing gamers have suffered far enough with all the "server shutdown drama" these past couple of months.
