Hi, may name is Jhun Derek Rota, a writer, gamer, blogger, songer, and a frustrated drawer. :) I wanted to do something where I can write, but at the same time enjoy games, games, and most especially games. So I decided to create Gamespeak.

I decided to concentrate on Philippine MMORPGs because that is my area of specialization (I guess). I've played quite a number of MMOs in the past and I can tell which game will hit the hearts of Pinoy gamers and which will miss the mark. :D

Though I do not expect a lot of people to read my blog, I do accept invites for autograph signing and mall tours (lol) so feel free to email me at derek_jess25@yahoo.com or add my facebook account: facebook.com/derekster

Below is a micro autobiography of my MMO gaming life:

I have been into MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Role-Playing Game) since fourth year high school. Before that I was still fond of street games like "racing" and "agawan base", and sports such as basketball, volleyball and badminton. I was not really interested in computer gaming because I often associate them with kids.

But everything changed when I was asked to man a computer shop one summer. After just two months of full immersion to MMORPGs, LAN games, and solitaire, my thoughts and views about gaming, particularly, online gaming changed. And that is where my adventure as an MMORPG enthusiast began *melodramatic music off*.

In my six years in the MMORPG realm, I have played countless games and spent thousands of pesos in computer shop rentals and cash item purchases. Here are the top three games that became part of my life... *I said melodramatic music off!*
